During my MBA, I was a part of the Odette MBA Society (OMBAS). Within this group was the Design Team, including myself and two other marketing students. The Design team had multiple initiatives; however, I was most involved with creating social media content and designing the yearbook.
The first project was to create content for the MBA social media page. More specifically, an introduction post for each MBA student.
Responsibilities ranged from photographing students, editing photos, contacting the students for questions, designing the layout, and writing content. In the end, I provided each student with a professional photograph and marketable content that they could use to promote themselves for their upcoming job applications.
The content produced in the social media project expanded into a yearbook. In the yearbook, I also included memories from the cohort during our time together. For this project, I worked with students involved in the MBA events planning and finances to make sure the yearbooks were available during the graduation party and within the allocated budget.
