Born in Windsor, Ontario, Emily Roe is an artist and poet who graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Windsor. 

Roe's art practice uses traditional and digital media while working with materials from her immediate surroundings. She has exhibited her work at galleries in Windsor, Ontario; Amherstburg, Ontario; and virtual publications/exhibitions.

Most recently, Roe has been actively involved in Windsor's poetry community, performing spoken word, hosting TOAST Open Mic Poetry at Phog Lounge, and has poems published in local community zines.
